Engaged Relationships

We care about our clients and we believe knowing our clients deeply is essential to giving them the right financial advice.

How do we build this relationship?  By listening.

Why is listening so important?  Because understanding what matters most to you and your family is the most important part of being a good financial advisor.  We’re in this business because it matters to us that our clients reach their financial goals.  One of the ways we do that is by building a real relationship that our clients can count on.   Without that relationship, we won’t ever hear some of the most important parts of your family’s story.  We can’t give good advice if we don’t see the full picture of your life.

We’ll start by asking questions.  We’ll learn about you and your situation.  We’ll share a little about ourselves.  We’ll get to know each other and start to build a level of trust.  We understand that trust is earned.  And it’s worth investing the time to build it, because we’ll need it to make difficult decisions and get through tough times and rough markets together.  Once that trusting relationship is established, we can count on it together to help us to see your priorities clearly and create a plan that will serve as the path to meeting your goals.

Money 101

Earlier this year, GBB hosted another installment of Money 101, our attempt to improve financial literacy.  Kids and grandkids of our clients were invited to spend a few hours learning about stocks, the dangers of debt and credit, financial planning, and entrepreneurship.  The kids asked great questions and everyone enjoyed the day!

**Stay tuned for the series of 6 videos that will highlight the day's topics of Investments, Financial Planning, Credit, Evaluating a Job Offer, Paying for College, and Entrepreneurship.
